The traditional meets the modern
Hanbok, a type of traditional Korean clothing, is only
worn for special occasions like wedding ceremonies or national holidays. The
hanbok should be worn with proper underclothes and accessories. Moreover, the
hanbok is recommended to be custom-made to fit the wearers’ body as an effort
to enhance its artistic line. Today, however, people are less likely to wear
hanboks. This is because it is hard to wear the hanbok properly.
These days hanbok has become greatly simplified. Fluffy skirt is getting shorter and more functional as a daily wear clothing.
